Bill was one of my best buddies while growing up in Minden, IA. We hunted, fished, skinny dipped, played pool, smoked, drank beer, played poker, shot firecrackers, skipped school, drove around in his dad's '49 Ford, chased girls, and played pranks on one another. Even though we followed diverging paths in life, my memories of Bill have always remained with me. I would like to think that one day we will meet again.
